Kristy Burchfield is Senior Director of RCM Services & Operations at MBW RCM, bringing more than 29 years of experience in healthcare administration and revenue cycle management to the role. She oversees RCM service delivery and operations across MBW's client base, partnering with onshore and offshore teams to strengthen onboarding, streamline workflows, and drive measurable improvements in performance, retention, and client outcomes. Her approach centers on identifying process bottlenecks early and building strategies that scale — a skill set shaped by nearly three decades of leading revenue cycle and provider services teams.

Before joining MBW RCM, Kristy served as Senior Director of Provider Services & Credentialing at EyeCare Partners, where she led the onboarding and credentialing lifecycle for new providers from recruitment through full integration. At Coronis Health, she was Senior Director of Client Services, managing the onboarding of new RCM clients and working directly with them to implement best practices that improved front-end revenue and reduced denials. Earlier in her career, as Regional RCM Director at EyeSouth Partners, she led practice management system implementations across multiple locations, and as Financial Administrator at Georgia Eye Associates for over two decades, she built the standard operating procedures, reporting, and credentialing processes that became the backbone of the practice's revenue cycle operations.

With hands-on experience across more than 30 practice management, EHR, billing, and credentialing platforms, Kristy combines deep operational expertise with a collaborative, people-first leadership style. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Georgia and an Associate of Science from Young Harris College. At MBW RCM, she's focused on the same thing that's defined her career: building teams and processes that set providers and clients up for lasting success.
